MISSION

​Fundación Andrea was founded in 2012 by Maria Clara Diaz Granados.  Our purpose is to foster and improve the life of the children with cancer who belong to the lower economic classes in the Atlantic Coast of Colombia during their treatment by contributing with shelter, food, recreation, emotional and economical support through an interdisciplinary group formed by psychologists, educators, doctors, nurses and nutritionists.

The house has a capacity for 32 people and hosts families from remote villages of the Caribbean Colombian Region, 356 days a year.

Follow Up to guarantee treatment continuity, Informative Lectures about Childhood Cancer, Legal Assessment, funeral Support, Recreation, Urban and Rural Transportation, Psychological Support for Child and Family, Nutritional Care and Academic Aid.

 

 

VISION
Be recognized at a national and international level as an institution that offers shelter services to cancer pediatric patients who come from low income families; with the purpose of reducing the treatment abandonment rate by providing an integral support.
